BIOGRAPHY

David Arumala is the Founder of Okome Holdings. Born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, David moved to the United States at six years old, when his parents and two older siblings settled in Salisbury, MarylandMr. Arumala graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Finance and moved to New York City where he worked in investment banking at Barclays and J.P. Morgan (both in the Financial Institutions Group). Post-investment banking, David was in private equity for 10+ years at WL Ross and CVC Capital Partners where he completed and evaluated investments across a number of sub-sectors within financial and business servicesOn a personal note, David currently resides in New York City and, in his spare time, enjoys actively working his way through a list of the all-time top 100 fantasy series books, playing (at a very amateur level) soccer and supporting Manchester United (an endeavor that has resulted in significant angst and ennui over the last decade or so)
